Post Behaviour of Custom AutoFilter has changed Reply with quote
in TableLib Version 3.8.33 (and earlier releases) the Custom AutoFilter has opened with both comboboxes set to 'contains' and both Case sensitive Checkboxes set to 'false'.
Since TableLib Version 3.9.37 the custom AutoFilter opens with the first case Sensitive checkbox set to 'true' and both Comboboxes set to 'nothing'.

Is there a way to configure the comboboxes and case sensitive checkboxes?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can set the default case sensitivity by getting the default StringFilter:

Code:
StringFilter sf = (StringFilter) FilterHeaderModel.getDefaultFilter(String.class);
sf.setCaseSensitive(false);

Now, about the comboboxes, the behaviour changed in recent versions:
If there is a valid mode, e.g. CONTAINS, EQUALS etc, if the user clicks on ok, the filter will be installed. This differs from previous versions, in which if the filter text was empty, the filter would not be installed no matter what the mode was. But this behaviour didn't allow for applying a filter with EQUALS mode and <blank> as text. Which is why we changed it.

I am afraid that you cannot change this for the moment, but we are planning to introduce a few enhancements to filtering, in order to tackle these problems. I will let you know.
Thanks
